Why is my sprinkler timer not working?
Power is the first suspect: an unplugged or failed transformer, a tripped outlet or a dead backup battery. If the display is fine but zones do not start, the problem is usually the wire or the valve, not the timer.
Sprinkler timer repair or replacement
If the controller is old, loses its program or has several failed stations, replacing it usually makes sense. If only one station failed, it can sometimes be repaired or rewired. We repair and replace sprinkler timers and controllers and program your watering days.
Controller, wire or valve?
We test the output at the controller, then the wire, then the valve, so you replace only what is actually broken. See valve repair when the valve is the problem.
Upgrade to a smart controller
Smart controllers use the same low-voltage wiring. See smart controllers or our guide on whether they are worth it.
What does a new sprinkler controller cost?
It depends on the controller and the work. Read the cost guide or call for a free quote.
