System Inspections for Fresno homes
Fresno’s watering windows are short: three days a week in the warm months, one day a week in winter, and never between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. If a system is losing water to leaks or overspray, that limited time is going to the wrong places. An inspection shows where.
Our free 21-point inspection works valve by valve through the controller, every zone, heads, nozzles, pressure, drip lines, and visible leaks. Each problem is written up under the valve it belongs to, with what’s wrong and the exact cost to fix it, so nothing on the list is a guess.
Local context
Planning on a City of Fresno program?
Some City programs depend on a system in good repair. The free smart irrigation controller program lists “your irrigation system must be in good repair” as an eligibility requirement, and the smart controller rebate requires a City Irrigation Efficiency Audit after installation.
An inspection beforehand helps you find and fix problems first. Our inspection is separate from the City’s audit.
Fresno FAQ
Free Sprinkler Inspection questions in Fresno
Is the sprinkler inspection really free in Fresno?
Yes. The inspection is free. If repairs are needed, they’re quoted separately before any work starts.
Is this the same as the City’s Irrigation Efficiency Audit?
No. The City’s audit is done by City of Fresno Water Conservation staff, for example after a rebated smart controller is installed. ACRE’s inspection is a separate, private service.
When is a good time for an inspection in Fresno?
Before the three-day schedule starts on April 1 and before summer heat are good times, or any time your water bill jumps.
