As of October 2026, the City lists two programs. The free smart irrigation controller program is grant-funded and first-come, first-served, for eligible single-family City water customers inside city limits who have Wi-Fi, a working controller, and an irrigation system in good repair.
Separately, there is a rebate of up to $105 for a qualifying WaterSense smart controller, with a City Irrigation Efficiency Audit required after installation. Check the City pages for current availability.
