As of October 2026, the City of Fresno lists a free smart controller retrofit for eligible homes and a smart controller rebate of up to $105. Eligibility and approval are up to the City.
The schedule also changes twice a year. From November 1 through March 31, odd addresses water on Saturday only and even addresses on Sunday only (City of Fresno).
