About Bullard
“Bullard” covers a lot of northwest Fresno. The City’s Bullard Community Plan area is about 24 square miles, bounded by Blackstone Avenue on the east, the San Joaquin River on the north, the Southern Pacific railroad on the west and Ashlan Avenue on the south. The plan dates from 1988, and the Pinedale Neighborhood Plan is part of it.
Our Fresno location on E Lansing Way is just east of Blackstone, so most Bullard-area homes are within a few miles of our shop. ZIP codes include 93711 and 93704.
ZIP: 93711 and 93704 · Distance: about 3.2 miles from ACRE Fresno, 911 E Lansing Way.
One area, every age of system
Because the Bullard area grew over many decades, there is no single “typical” system. Older blocks near Shields and Ashlan may have systems added decades after the house, while streets toward Herndon and the river are newer. That is why we start every visit at the controller and run each zone before recommending anything.
Common calls across the area are the same ones we see all over Fresno: a zone that won’t start (often wiring or a solenoid), heads that won’t pop up, and leaks at old fittings.
Close to the shop
Being a few miles from our Fresno location helps when water is running and won’t stop. If a valve is stuck open or a line has broken, close the irrigation shutoff or the house main, then call. See emergency sprinkler repair in Fresno and what to do when a valve won’t shut off.
