Signs of a broken sprinkler pipe
An underground leak shows up as a soggy or sunken spot, one zone with weak or missing spray, water at the curb, or a meter that moves when everything is off. The wet spot is rarely where the leak is, so we trace the line zone by zone.
How we repair a leaking sprinkler line
We isolate the zone, find the break, dig only what is needed and cut out the damage. Broken PVC and poly lines, fittings and risers get repaired with proper fittings, and we re-test pressure and coverage before backfilling. If a run is worn out, we tell you what replacing it would involve.
Broken sprinkler line under concrete or a driveway
A line under a driveway or walkway is harder to reach. Sometimes it can be repaired without cutting the concrete, sometimes it needs a different route. We explain the options after we find the break, before work starts.
Sprinkler head leaking or system leaking when off
A leak at the head is often a worn seal or a cracked body, which is a head repair. Water that keeps coming up after the system shuts off can be draining from a low head or a stuck valve. Our guides cover how to find a sprinkler line leak and a system leaking when off.
What does it cost?
It depends on where the break is and what is above it. See our sprinkler repair cost guide, or call for a free quote.
