What we know about Clovis
At about 361 feet, Clovis shares the Fresno area’s semi-arid San Joaquin Valley climate, with long, hot, dry summers, mild winters and average rainfall of around 11 inches a year.
Clovis had 120,124 residents at the 2020 census and sits at about 361 feet above sea level. Incorporated in February 1912.
The 1894 lumber flume brought a lumberyard and sawmill to Clovis Station, and the town was incorporated as a city in February 1912.
