About Copper River Ranch
Copper River Ranch is a master-planned community in northeast Fresno built around the Copper River Country Club. The club’s golf course opened in spring 1995 and its clubhouse in April 1996.
The Copper River Ranch project was approved in 2000 for up to 2,837 homes, with commercial and office space and open space. Homes sit along and off East Copper River Drive in ZIP 93730, about 8 miles northeast of our Fresno location.
ZIP: 93730 · Distance: about 8.0 miles from ACRE Fresno, 911 E Lansing Way.
Newer systems, gated streets
Because most of Copper River Ranch was built after the project’s 2000 approval, many sprinkler systems here are 25 years old or younger. That usually means PVC lines and plastic valves rather than old steel pipe. It also means the original controller may still be running the program the builder or landscaper set years ago, before the City’s current watering days.
Some neighborhoods are gated. If yours is, tell us the gate instructions when you book so the tech isn’t stuck at the entrance with your appointment window ticking.
A program that matches the City’s days
A common fix here costs nothing in parts: reprogramming. If your controller still waters on days the City no longer allows, or runs in the 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. window, we reset it to your address’s days and split long run times into shorter cycles so the water soaks in instead of running into the gutter. If the timer is old, we can install a smart controller that adjusts for weather.
HOA areas vs. your yard
Several Copper River Ranch neighborhoods have their own homeowners associations, such as Granville at Copper River Ranch, and some are gated. The association looks after its common areas; the sprinkler system inside your lot is usually yours to repair. Check your CC&Rs if a valve or line sits near a shared wall or common strip, and check whether front-yard changes need architectural approval.
