A Madera landscape has to look good on three watering days a week, with nothing between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. (City of Madera). We plan planting, lawn, hardscape, and lighting together so each part works within those limits.
Because irrigation is a core part of ACRE’s work, the sprinkler and drip plan is part of the design from the start.

Madera rules that shape a design
The City doesn’t allow hosing off driveways, sidewalks, or paved areas, so spray near new hardscape needs careful planning. Vegetable gardens for personal use on drip are exempt from the assigned days (City of Madera).
Madera also asks residents to use a shutoff nozzle on hoses and not to hose off driveways, sidewalks, or paved areas. We design beds and paving so routine cleanup is a broom job, not a hose job.

Yes. Under the City’s rules, drip-watered vegetable gardens for personal use aren’t limited to the assigned days.
