We repair Hunter sprinklers
ACRE repairs Hunter sprinkler and irrigation systems in Fresno and Clovis. That includes Hunter PGP, PGJ and PGV valves, Pro-Spray heads and Hunter rotors, MP Rotators, and Hunter X-Core and Pro-C controllers.
Common Hunter sprinkler problems
Hunter makes PGP and PGJ rotors, Pro-Spray and MP Rotator heads, PGV valves, and X-Core and Pro-C controllers. The problems we see most:
- Zone not working: a Hunter zone that will not turn on, or one that works by hand but not on the schedule.
- Stuck valve: a Hunter valve stuck open, or a solenoid that will not close.
- Heads: a head that will not pop up, will not rotate, or leaks at the body.
- Controllers: lost programs or a display with no response.
Hunter rotor and head repair
Rotors lose rotation to dirt or worn gears, and spray heads clog or crack. Many fixes are a new head or nozzle matched to the zone. See head replacement.
Hunter valve and controller repair
A solenoid that does not close, a worn diaphragm, or a bad splice can all keep a Hunter valve from working. If the controller is the cause, we repair or replace it and program your watering days. See controller repair.
Hunter valve repair: stuck on, leaking or not closing
Hunter PGV and other Hunter irrigation valves fail like any valve: debris, a worn diaphragm or a failing solenoid. Valves that leak, stay on or will not close can be rebuilt or replaced. See valve repair.
Hunter sprinkler head repair: PGP, PGJ and Pro-Spray
A Hunter head that does not rotate, will not pop up or leaks from the top usually has dirt, a worn gear or a worn seal. We repair or replace Hunter PGP and PGJ rotors and Pro-Spray heads and match the nozzle to the zone.
Hunter irrigation controller repair
A Hunter controller that will not turn on, lost its program or skips zones can have a power, wiring or valve problem. We repair or replace Hunter X-Core and Pro-C controllers and set the schedule.
